How it works
You don’t need to know how to write a song. That’s my job. Instead…
1. You share your story
It starts with a simple questionnaire where you tell me about the person, the moment, and what you want the song to capture. This gives me everything I need to write something that feels personal and true to you.
2. I write and shape your song
Using your story, I build the song from the ground up. Chords, melody, and lyrics all come together to reflect the emotion and tone you’re looking for. You’ll hear an initial version and have the chance to give feedback so we can get it just right.
3. I record and produce it
Once everything feels right, I record and produce the final version in my studio using real vocals and instrumentation. No templates. No shortcuts. Just a real song, built with care.
4. You receive something that lasts
You’ll receive a finished recording, along with lyrics and any add-ons you choose. For certain occasions, live performance options may also be available to bring the song into the moment it was written for.

I want to ensure you have the best experience. Together we will create the best song for your occasion. Once you complete the FORM, I will reach out with a questionnaire that I would ask you to complete. From there i’ll write the first draft of the song. Next i will schedule a time for me to present the song to you. We can then make adjustments as needed. Once the song is finalized, you will receive a song that includes at least two verses and a chorus (likely more), as well as a complimentary keepsake lyric sheet in PDF format.

Generally speaking a song can be delivered within one week (seven days) from confirmation of the song purchase.

The cost of a personalized song depends on complexity and length. This includes an initial consultation, custom melody and lyrics, and a professionally produced recording. Each song is crafted to capture your unique story and emotions, creating a one-of-a-kind treasure. Contact us for a specific quote.

Delivery method will be discussed, however, the options for song delivery include:

> If you’d like, for an additional price, I can also release the song to all of the streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, etc.) under the “artist” Everyman Songwriting. -
No. Every song is written, recorded, and produced by Colin. This is a fully human, artist-led process from start to finish.
